Lectora® Fundamentals

Learn the basics of Lectora, including an introduction to many of the menus within the application and the various object properties.

In this class, build an eLearning course from scratch consisting of chapters, sections, pages, and a graded test. Include a variety of media within your title to engage learners and learn how to create basic actions (such as rollovers), navigation, customized buttons, and various question types. You will also learn how to publish a title to ReviewLink, a free online review tool, and to HTML for access via the web.

All sessions are conducted by Interactive Advantage through online instruction.

Lectora® Fundamentals & Intermediate Combined

This 2-day Lectora Fundamentals and Intermediate course will cover how to create an eLearning course from start to finish.

This includes configuring actions, adding interactivity, and evaluating learners with quizzes. In addition, you will learn the best practices for creating and publishing a Lectora project. This class is being offered virtually, online from a convenient location of your choice.

These sessions are conducted by Brookwood through online instruction.

Lectora® Intermediate

This class goes above and beyond the basic uses of Lectora, focusing primarily on the use of variables and conditional actions within a title.

Learn how to take your Lectora knowledge to the next level. Use variables to track user interactivity, display both generic and user information, and conditionally branch within a title. Finally, you'll learn how to publish a title to AICC/SCORM, for use within a learning management system. (Before taking this course, you should be comfortable with creating a course structure, adding content to a title, creating buttons, and have an overall understanding of Lectora's book metaphor, inheritance, and modes. These concepts are covered in the Lectora Fundamentals training.)

All sessions are conducted by Interactive Advantage through online instruction.

Lectora® Comprehensive

This Lectora training package includes Fundamentals, Intermediate, and Extreme/Games (Advanced).

These training dates are consecutive and take place online.

All sessions are conducted by Interactive Advantage through online instruction.

Lectora® Extreme/Games (Advanced)

This advanced class focuses on advanced uses of objects, variables, and conditional action groups to create sophisticated eLearning content and games.

You will learn how to build on existing knowledge and experience and combine seemingly unrelated functionality in advanced ways, including:

Using user-defined variables and random value variables to create complex conditional actions

Creating action groups to perform multiple actions and repetitive sequences needed for gaming logic

Using non-typical combinations of tests and questions to create instructional review games

Before taking this course, you should have a solid understanding of:

.

Actions (e.g., triggers, actions, sequencing, delays)

.

Questions (e.g., choices, properties, point values, feedback)

.

Tests (e.g., test properties, behavior, results)

.

Some user-defined variables and conditional actions experience

All sessions are conducted by Interactive Advantage through online instruction.
